Was this worth it for Nick to do this(Spoiler with Questions)

Yes I know we all fall in love at first sight even if the other party has a boyfriend like Sheeni had with Trent but its not worth it to do something that super drastic that can get you the gas chambers or electric chair in jail or a Juvenile Detention Institution for life, no it isn't.

Yes Nick went on a trailer park camp vacation with his Mom and Jerry(even though Jerry did it to escape from sailors he did a scam sale on a car), and he meets a neighbor trailer girl and falls in love. After all before the trailer park time Nick had a hard time getting a girl and wanted to lose his virginity. However most people know that usually you don't do the birds and the bees either until you are married or over 21 or until you accept responsibility on it.

Yes I can understand during the time at that camp he fell in love even though she was having a problem relationship with Trent and wanted to see her again but however he didn't have to make himself a very bad boy that is super bad with the law and put his mothers things down the toilet which gets you alot of long term consequences or take his Moms Car or Jerrys old car and burn buildings in town which is a jail for life for most people. That of course was no accident and on purpose but in my opinion it was not worth it just to be with someone you love. Plus when he did move there with his father, Sheena's parents didn't want him around her and when he did that trip to the boarding school, the dorm watch woman got after him too.

Here are ways he could have handled it. He could have asked his neighbor Mr. Fergeson to drive him there every other weekend to see her and still live with his Mom and Jerry than Lance after Jerry died. Or he could have worked things out with his Mom to have her go there every other weekend and be on a penpal relationship with Sheeni. There are many people that have romantic lovers that are miles apart and they still end up together and sometimes married. So there are ten million other ways Nick could have handled it if he was in love with Sheeni, not go to a risky big thing against the law thing and sacrifice his life with many consequences and doing that is not only against the law and could hurt others but its not a normal right thing to do either.

I'm not going to lie I was hoping Nick would realize his actions were silly and go on with his life.

I call movies that are considered 'bad' hated movies.

The name of the movie is Youth in Revolt. Not Kids Obeying Authority.

I felt stupid reading your first paragraph, so I didn't continue. Juvenile detention for life? My word, I was under the impression that juvenile detention was just for...juveniles. And where in the hell do you live where gas chambers have EVER been used in prison??? You also realize that maybe 9 states even still use an electric chair? Also what backwards ass state do you live in where a person is MURDERED for starting a fire?

reply

When the state kills a person its not murder. Nice try though.

Starting the fire no accident? What movie were you watching? He was gonna lite the caravan on fire in a empty parking lot, he had no way of knowing the pothole was gonna unhinge the caravan.

More people wanting to "solve the problems" in a movie to make it work out better/smoother.

Again, it's called DRAMA, people. People want to see wacky, insane people in the movies, not your dad mowing the lawn.
