I was amazed when I was watching this, and realized it was filmed in my town, Wilmington, North Carolina. And the college scenes are filmed at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. It doesn't surprise me that much though, because we have tons of stuff filmed here all the time.

"The Brooke Ellison Story" was filmed entirely in New Orleans, LA in June and July of 2004. Tulane University stood in for Harvard.
