30 episodes in, wondering if this problem goes away...

Does Naruto, get any less childish and annoying, when is this guy gonna grow up?
Rather than make his flaws part of his character, the show makes his flaws the entire character (or at least so far)

Say ten Hail Marys, five Our Fathers, and the Gilligan's Island theme

He'll carry a bit of the brashness, acts/talks-before-he-thinks, needs oversimplified explanations, etc., but the childishness will tone down as he deals with serious goals and actions (usually for the purpose of helping someone). The Chunin Exams Arc will eventually concentrate on his vulnerability and empathy, as he encounters people who had similar backgrounds like his own, and he begins to learn what it is to be a ninja.

Naruto matures as a character. He seemed arrogant, but by the time Shippuden aired, he had really matured. That's the way I see it.

Hang in there naruto really grows I'm re watching the series with my gf and for me watching it a 2nd time I realized naruto is so innocent and has such a huge heart that he really is a kid. For me it's a real trip bc of how I know he ends up it makes it so much more hilarious
