I feel your pain, why do it for Jo a messed up nut case who is still in love with crazy Alex? She would never go for Deluca because he is too good of a guy.

I would let Alex spend some time in jail. Not like he just punched him, he nearly killed him, let alone almost ruined his career and came close to ruining the sight in his eye.

I wish this whole storyline never happened. I love Alex, he's been my favorite since season 1 and he's one of the few originals that are still on. I'm glad he didn't go to jail (might be in the minority on this one) but I can see why people would have wanted him to. He nearly killed a guy and justice would have been serving some time and permanently losing his job. I'm just tired of watching my favorites from the beginning go (Christina, Izzie, George, Callie).

Get over it... Alex and Merideth are the only ones left of the original characters. PLUS, Alex was being selfless to save "jo", as was Deluca. (Not that she deserved all this).

LMAO! Are you actually believing this bs?! Selfless would be not assuming things. Also, Jo didn't look helpless or in a position of weakness. She was laughing! He got jaleous, that's all. He was just being the bully, and jerk he always was.

I think the other poster meant it was selfless of Alex to go ahead and take the plea deal and accept time in jail-- so Jo wouldn't have to testify and get her name revealed in the courts, which would allow her abusive ex to find her.

Sometimes fires don't go out when you're done playin' with them.

Umm Webber and Bailey are also originals, there from the get go. They were not interns with MAGIC (Mer, Alex, George, Izzie, Cristina) but they are definitely original cast.

But Meredith and Alex are the only ones left of the "core 5" of the interns. When the show started wasn't it mostly about the life of Meredith and how the interns handled beginning their medical profession....I would have considered Baily and Webber strong supporting cast at the time the show started, even though they are still original members.
