Fans should be mad about the Ending

Aang decided to piss on tradition and self-sacrifice by choosing to be with Katara. Wouldn't this also lock at least one of his chakras?

Well, being the LAST Airbender...

People ARE mad about the ending, trust me, the websites I go to have people constantly complaining about the ending of the show, specifically the acupuncture rock and the fact that Aang didn't kill the Firelord. I get people being upset about the first point, it's a way the writers got themselves out the corner they wrote themselves concerning Aang's blocked chakra from Azula zapping him with a lightning bolt, but at least it provided a cool fight scene. I think the people who wanted Aang to kill Ozai had weird expectations, and I won't complain about them here.

Also I think Aang "keeping" Katara as an earthly attachment is what prevents him from entering the avatar state at will, instead of when he is in danger. Not great writing either, but I kind of like some of the idea behind it.

It was hilarious when Azula zapped Aang. I was laughing because in all shows and movies, all the bad guys always stand around waiting. In this case, she said F that, die avatar, lol.

aang had been searching for love since the first few episodes. it was his destiny. tho, i think he would have been a better match with toph, and katara would go to zuko since they have way more in common and are of the same age group.
