Omari Hardwick aka 'Free'

is it me or is this guy under-rated? He's a great actor, I just saw him in Next Day Air, idk there's just something about his presence on screen that's very unique. He really makes me think that he lived the street life by the way he portrayed his character in this movie

His voice is also really unique, reminds me of a denzel. My point is though, he's a great actor, look out for him in the future. Mad respect for the dude.

This almost seems like a joke. The dialogue you typed makes me think it is. Maybe because it's never the same reading it as hearing it. And the fact that I'm used to sarcasm on imdb. I don't remember him in this movie but then this movie never really grabbed me but I like his energy as an actor overall. I love him in Dark Blue and he did a good job with his brief scene in Miracle at St Anna.

I really don't get the Denzel connection. But I do think his voice is very distinctive. I think his voice has the same type of force or confidence of Denzel's but I don't think they sound anything alike.

For me, he is very believable in each role I've seen. Just like in Dark Blue, I don't see Omari,I see his character, even in smaller roles. I really like him.
