'Dark Science'
There is a fascinating documentary called "Dark Science"(2008)that provides further insight into the Australian outback and its indigenous people. It focuses on a swedish scientist named Eric Mjoberg who lived and did research in and around the region circa 1910. His work led to much controversy and ultimately he descended into a world of addiction and madness. I found the doc. to be thoroughly intriguing & eerie and found some interesting parallels between this factual story and the film. Check it out if you get a chance.
One added bonus- John Hurt (Jelon Lamb) narrates the documentary.
