I was still sad to see it end. I wouldnt have complained if had continued another season

I agree, though I would always like to be left wanting more than thinking "this should have ended long ago". I think this is why I like a shorter series - there is generally a story arc planned out in advance and it is adhered to without unnecessary fluff.
