Re Cast for TPB US Movie

Imagine this for a Trailer Park Boys movie in the US: Its an Apatow production.
Ricky: Seth Rogen
The drinking friend (Julian?): Paul Rudd (Anchormanesque)
Bubbles: Stephen Root (Milton from Office Space)
Ricky's Daughter: That Breslin girl from Little Miss Sunshine
Trailer Park Director: Jeffery Tambor
His shirtless Sidekick: Danny Mcbride
The other firend they always send to jail: Jay Baruschel

I think it would be great. Throw Steve Carell in somewhere and it could be awesome.
Thoughts/Criticisms?

You lousy son of a bitch.

The show works because all the people in it are natural "characters" in they're own right, not because a bunch of *beep* and moondicks are "attached."

If this ever happened I'd *beep* kill myself.

Seth Rogen?

COME ON.

reply

agrred, that would be terrible, it would kill the entire concept. besides, humour is distinct and complex, you can't just replace the boys with some a-list actors because they would do a better job because they're more famous. the boys have a very unique style, and they do it perfectly. it may still be a funny movie, but it wouldnt be TPB

"we got reports of people getting stoned and playing spaceman in the streets" "yeah, us"

reply

That's horrible

reply

That's the worst idea i've ever heard

Dark Knight fanboys need to get laid more

reply

How could ANYONE replace Bubbles?! I love Stephen Root... but... no.

Movies on IMDB are not overrated, you're just of the minority that doesn't bloody LIKE THEM!

Barack Obama: An Affirmative Action "success" story.

OP has lost his frakking mind. There's only one Ricky, and he's perfect.

reply

Did it occur to anyone else that the OP may have been trolling or fakeposting? That's what I got from the tone of his post, I thought it was hilarious. Yes, it's a terrible idea, that's the point! Joke's on you guys.

reply

Or maybe the OP's idea just backfired. Not everybody who types something stupid on the internet is trolling.
