Trinity

for whatever reason they used a different actress to play ricky's daughter (different from the TV series) it ruined that story for me. i thought that young girl was terrible as an actress, and even if they felt they needed to use a younger actress, they could have did better in casting.

it doesn't occur to you that the original trinity is in her teens now?? *bangs head on desk*

reply

your point?
there was no time reference in the film.

i don't care if trinity gets older...everyone does. stealing barbeque's doesn't fit teen-age trinity, then change her crime.

the actress playing her in the film was not good. period.

A corrupt teen on the patch is not nearly as funny as a corrupt 10 year old on the patch.

Actually, that actress was pretty good. However, I was disappointed that the regular Trinity wasn't in it.

I came on here to ask the same question.
My guess is that the original Trinity was a horrible actor and they needed someone to look a bit more like Ricky. Still, it only matters if you watch the show. The first movie was the best. The Big Dirty seems like a remarket for international viewers (which is good).

reply

it's definitely a remarket which i think is terrible. compared to the first film from 99 and the series it's utter crap

Someone said that a corrupt 10 year old on the patch is funny, only to people with no taste. They really overdid it with Trinity, and I think it was because of the stupid marketing towards Americans. I love how we get to see Trinity evolve in the tv shows, but seeing her over exaggerated character was boring.
