A portion of the time when Kayako kills her victims, you will find them "laying about", such as it was in the case of eason: [Played by Eddie Chen] Where after her having emerged from one of his developing photo bath tubs, she lunges toward him, squeezing his head with her hands, & killing him.... Leaving him to be found, "laying about" in his personal development [film] lab.... But not so with Allison: [Played by Teresa Palmer] Where she is trapped in the phone booth by kayako's dead son, [holding her legs] with kayako then coming along to merges with her, absorbing her.... What has she done with victims like this, & where has she taken them ..... It's not clear...

it all sounds good but that leaves a big snafu in the first film. matthew and his wife, jennifer, were killed and left to be discovered in the attic. yet, later that night - matthew's voice is used to call his sister, susan, and ask which apartment is hers. then susan sees matthew at the door through the peephole even though he's dead. everything made sense until i thought of that part. maybe the grudge curse just chooses people randomly to scare to death by bringing them to the "dark place" or to just flat out kill and leave their corpses.

Where did everyone get the idea that Kayako Crushed Eason's head, and that what killed him, hello has no one seen the Director's Cut of THE GRUDGE 2, she doesn't crush his head, she just grabs him and throws him to the floor just before crawling out of the Photo; and as for the girl the Phone booth no one said Kayako merged with, she might have just killed her and left her.
