Nop, she was actually haunted since she was with Eson, but she won't gonna die yet, she was just cover by the evil aura, then she was dumb and she enter in the house herself as a way to find out the truth.

My thoughts exactly and I think Aubrey may have made it easier for them to pull her into the house once she made her way through the gate to the front yard. She was pretty much in their zone by that stage.
