I don’t quite get why the toys were so upset by the idea of moving into the attic. Sure, they live for playtime and all, but there’s a silver lining: More freedom. In Andy’s room they were kind of stuck in the toy box. But in the attic they can come and go and do whatever they like without worrying about being caught. I’d be kind of excited.

Eventually, they were ok with it! But Andy's mom, thinking the bag was trash, dumped them in the trash can causing the toys to give up on Andy and head to the day care.

It's not the attic they were upset about, it's that Andy but them in a black trash bag and intended to take them to the attic. But Andys mom mistake it for garbage.
