Would you have saved Lotso?

When they were going towards the shredder to be turned into mulch, Lotso is stuck and calls out for them to help. Woody and Buzz jump down and pry him free with the golf club.

My question to you is, would you have saved him?
Not only did they save an evil toy, they risked their lives to save him.

Call me sinister, but I would have let him die. He was an evil bastard.

I would have saved him that time. But then, I am rather soft-hearted.

They're the good toys. They wouldn't just abandon another toy to be ground into pulp like that. Besides, he's already been dethroned by Ken and Barbie at this point so he couldn't exactly go back to Sunnyside and resume his reign. The worst thing he did after being saved was refuse to act to save them in return.

No. He was a monster who deserved to face the consequences for his actions.

I don't think some of you see the whole point. What happened to him was a rage of anger that drifted him to "The Dark Side" it's like what happened in "Revenge Of The Sith" Anakin was so angry and confused at who was telling him was was going on and his anger words Obi-Wan and the Jedi Order for not allowing him to do Missions he seen that was fit for him and mind games. So what happened to Lotso was like a "Star Wars" thing he loved that little girl so much that parents forget there kid's toy so he got the wrong idea that mad him mad and that is what the clown was explaining that that replacement cased a chain reaction in Lotsp's mind to head to the dark side and make sure no toy would ever be abounded again so he was on lets say two truth's yes he did things in a bad way but he wanted to make sure a toy would never be forgotten again. See my point if you re watch this and "Revenge Of The Sith" you will see how it does to a person's mind and makes them see things in a confused way.

Saving him speaks more to Woody and Buzz's character than to Lotso's.

If you didn't even attempt to save someone, even if "evil", it would haunt you for the rest of your days. Not a nice way to live life.
