This darn movie made me cry!

Near the end of the film, when they were sliding towards the incinerator and they all held hands, my heart was in my throat. Very effective film and I love these silly characters so much!

I'm straight up lovable, son.

Agreed. That scene was intense.

Yeah, that was a real grabber...
But the scene that made tears run - STREAM -down my face came a little bit later, right at the end. The trigger being:
"This is Woody. He's been my friend for as long as I can remember."

The trigger for me is the moment right before that when the little girl reaches for Woody, and Andy instinctively pulls back. The one toy Andy obviously was not fully prepared to give away. And yet, Andy knows it's time for someone else to have him.

Can't stop the signal.

Me too, I'm sitting here thinking I'm crying over a cartoon movie. But when Andy is getting ready to leave at the end and he looks back, you can feel him saying goodbye to his friends and his childhood and it's just so darn emotional! I was literally crying. We're watching one childhood end while another begins with our favorite toys. Beautiful...

This movie makes me feel old. It's a better tearjerker than Titanic for sure.
