horrible credit music


did i hate the music or what, wasn't so bad when they started getting artists to cover it but the original version with the old lady singing about boxes and ticky tacky?! was so like wtf. her voice is just horrendous

I think there were some gems in there. Personally my favorite came from S8E11, though I think that was composed specifically for the show.

It's a classic and was fitting to the idea of suburban monotony that was portrayed as driving people to pot, which the Botwins took advantage of.

The first season's version was far from my favorite rendition. I liked the cover versions in subsequent seasons and missed it when they moved out of Agrestic/Majestic.

I hated it too. Didn't watch the series until it was out on Netflix and I fast forwarded past the credit music.

It's hateful, that's for sure. Or, as Tom Lehrer said, "the most sanctimonious song ever written".
