reply

i know how to pronouce it.

reply

can you please tell me :)

reply

Hi, I'm Thai. This is how you prenounce her name (Ignore the fact that the pronunciation doesn't match the actual written characters (spelling), it's translated from thai and english doesn't have as much letters as we do) :

First name : Nut-ta-wee-ra-noot
Last : Tong-Mee

I agree that it's long, but really, it's not THAT long. Some thai's actually have long names like these.

Haha thanks for answering

thai people have very long last names when translated in english. The capital of Thailand in english (not Bangkok) can be made into a 3 minute song or less i forgot lol.

c, im thai and my last names 15 letters long. Thai pride~ :D

The full name of Bangkok is "Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit." -wikipedia

When you put that into Google translate, it comes back as

"Bangkok".

A lot of Thai people tend to have really long names. Like Cherry Chevapravatdumrong. She works on the show Family Guy.

Not to disrespect her name, but it sounds like something a girl would say while hitting her from behind.

Many Siamese people have long names that seem unpronounceable to
english speakers.

That's just her formal name, what we would call the surname and given name, but they don't use that name in their day to days lives.

All Thais also have a nickname that is usually only one or two syllables and given to them by family or friends in early childhood.
