A few more questions

How is a FEATHER so strong, it can be used to open a METAL LOCK? Has anyone ever tried to pick a big lock like that using a goose feather?

Also, why even _HAVE_ an openable lock for your prisoner, if the whole purpose of the prison is to keep him imprisoned?

Couldn't they have shackled him with things that make it physically impossible for him to exert any force, like they do in real life? When you're on your back, hands tied behind your back and THEN cuffed, you won't have enough leverage to break your cuffs, even if you are the strongest entity in the world. What's the point of chaining him in that particular way?

Do they feed the prisoner, and if so, how, and what kind of food is it?

Isn't it extremely cruel to keep someone completely immobilized without any source or form of entertainment or exercize? Wouldn't his muscles atrophy pretty quickly in that situation and wouldn't he suffer enormous psychological stress, to the point of becoming completely mad and delusional?

My point is, why go through _ALL_ that, rather than either kill him or imprison him in a more normal way? There's not even a CELL! I know he's supposed to be 'strong', but don't tell me kung-fu masters can break PRISON CELLS!

Why such stupid method of imprisonment anyway, why not something more controllable? How about powerful magnets that prevent him from jumping (Yes, I've seen 'Face Off')? How about some kind of sedation, sleeping gas, etc.? Ok, ancient china wouldn't have sleeping gas probably, but they'd have -some- kind of sleep-inducing agent.

If he's held in place by acupuncture, couldn't the same acupuncture be used to make him sleepy, or render his muscles unusable, and why let him move his tail freely anyway?

This seems to be one of those movies where nothing makes sense, when you think about it. What even happens to him at the end?

This would be so much easier if they'd just kill that snow leopard or whatever it is. Why even keep him in a place or situation where helpful objects may drop or float down right next to him, where he can use his tail freely?

Instead of this ridiculously complicated 'prison', he should've just been put to an actual prison cell - he wouldn't have been able to escape that so easily. But no, they have to have open areas, heights, explosives, helpful spears to cut off the chains, etc. Why would they throw those spears anyway, they should KNOW he can at least avoid them.

In other words, why are the chains so loose he can use the spears to cut them? How can a SPEAR cut a METAL CHAIN anyway? He doesn't escape because he's strong, he escapes because the prison is stupidly designed, and the guards actively help him (even if unintentionally).

Why didn't Po thank Sifu in the end? He sacrifices part of his meal and the panda doesn't even thank him??
