Casey Affleck looks more like Jesse James than Bob Ford
Why did they cast him as Ford?
Both look nothing like the real ones.
ACTUAL Looks aren't necessary. James had an Aura and Pitt carried that over to the film. Affleck brought that uneven emotion to Ford. I can't even imagine this film with other actors in the roles.
shareAffleck was brilliant. James was a legend, a sort of a rockstar already then. Just natural to cast him with an extremely goodlooking moviestar.

Exactly. Brad Pitt is somewhat pigeonholed because of his looks buy he's certainly become a fine actor over the years. Here, Pitt AS James seems about as Natural a role that I've ever saw. Affleck stole the show though. It's amazing to watch his range for the character. It's incredibly uneasy and exactly what it was supposed to be.
shareCasey is a good actor. He gives us bravado with internal struggles so well.
I only watched the film tonight because he starred in it. Sorry, Brad...Casey made the film!
