Could've been a Sci-fi Cult Classic

Pinbacker basically had super human strength which makes zero sense as he should've been the weakest person alive. Just another film ruining plot line to what could've been a classic

reply

Pinbacker isn't real. He is just an illusion created in the characters' minds

reply

isn’t it already considered a “cult” classic?

Trolls Need Not Apply

reply

Huh? It already is! Just like: Event Horizon(1997)!

Great 2/3's..ALAS;-/

reply

Actually several critics did compare the third act to event horizon. And you're right. There are a lot of similarities. But I'd like to think that Sunshine is much better executed overall.

reply

No he didn't. The only feat of strength was lifting Capa at the end, but having minimal gravity (the bomb was the size of Manhattan) it wouldn't have been that difficult.
