National lampoon vacation,with Chevy Chase. Travelling cross country,old person dying, father losing his mind and travel with a dead body.... what do you think?

OH yeah! Vacation is one hilarious movie! I laugh so hard when I watch it!

Definitely some similarities, but LMS has a far darker, edgier side, whilst NLV is straight out farcical comedy. I like them both, but for much different reasons.🐭

I was surprised by the beginning of this movie and how it opens with the depressed brother sitting in hospital after his suicide attempt. I was thinking, "I thought this was supposed to be comedy?"

This movie makes me remember

It did. 1975's Smile. The girls were older but the theme was dark and satirical just like this one.

My sig? A milestone! Landmark! A masterpiece! I laughed, I cried!
