Why the hell did the Earth look like a spore planet at the start of the film? Are the movie makers and digital effects artists flat earthers or something? It looked all weird with the clouds being thousands of kilometers off the surface of the planet.

That seems reasonable, except for the fact that it wasnt followed by artistic images of deities. It was just a weird out of place spore world.
