Catalina Question

Just doing my first time through the show and something has always confused me about some of the continuity of the show but i could be missing something. from the first season Catalina is working as a maid at the motel but later gets a second job working at Club Chubby's as a dancer (jumper) while Earl is doing the things on his list. But when it shows us episodes that go back in the past before Earl wrote the list we see Catalina is already working at the club. I'm assuming it's before the list came about as Earl is still a douchebag. Like i said, i might be missing something but i don't know.

I think the explanation in the episode Jump for Joy had to do with convincing Catalina to return to Chubby's to do her jump-dance routine that she'd quit some years earlier. She was reluctant because an old customer had died as a result of watching her, causing her to give up the job.

That episode also showed an old poster from when she used to work there before or it was a brief flashback, iirc.

In "Monkeys in Space" (S1:E14), Catalina tells Earl while they are playing pool that she used to work at Club Clubby's. Earl then asks if she was any good and Catalina immediately launches into a very brief but also quite provocative sort-of-dance. Earl then responds, "I'm guessing that's a 'yes.'"
