Anyone catch the "Boogie Nights" reference?
S2 E23, "The Trial"....Earl goes to check on the kids and Crabman. The song "Sister Christian" is playing on the radio, one of the kids is throwing snap pop fireworks, and they are both sucking sugar through a straw that is poured out on a table. Both the kids are in their underwear, and then Crabman comes out in a robe.
I'm a big fan of both MNIE and BN, and even though I've seen both this episode and the movie a million times, I just made the connection! It was a huge "Doh!" moment for me. I'm just wondering if anyone else caught it, and are there more hidden references like this I'm not seeing?
