"Twigs & Twine & Tasha Banes" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

RICHARD SPEIGHT, JR. DIRECTS - Alicia Banes (guest star Kara Royster) calls Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) for help after her mother, Tasha (guest star Alvina August), goes missing. Sam (Jared Padalecki) answers Mary's phone and he and Dean (Jensen Ackles) head out to help Alicia and her twin brother, Max (guest star Kendrick Sampson), find their mother who was hunting a powerful witch. Meanwhile, Mary starts to have some doubts about the British Men of Letters. Richard Speight, Jr. directed the episode written by Steve Yockey (#1220). Original airdate 5/4/2017.

Well, I really wanted the BMoL to blow up in Mary's face, so seeing that happen makes me pretty happy.

Oh so do I.

After everything this storyline needs to have major ramifications and am guessing that if the twins make it through the next episode they will be the main contenders for how the CW either gets a spin off or a way to let the J2 slowly disembark from the show, but it still having a supernaturally connected hunting sibling duo that fits the CW mould take over.

Because isn't this the third episode they've either been in or mentioned?

You're right, it is the third episode they've been mentioned.
Good luck with that spin off, CW. I won't be watching lol.
I know the twins have a following and I personally love shows with a racially diverse cast but the twins' personalities turned me off on their first episode, ESPECIALLY the guy, and I actually liked his actor from How to Get Away With Murder (now that I think about it, he also had a sister he was very close to on that show).

I don't watch HtGAWM and do like the idea of the twins but like you there is something about them that doesn't fit with the show.

I can't help feel that with the way they were presented that smacked to me of them not being out of place in the Vampire Diaries or the Originals as regulars something you could never see the brothers ever becoming. Even in the early days.

To be honest I'd rather watch Jodi try and wrangle the girls than a spin off in that fits a mould that can eventually towards the other CW supernatural shows and I'm not sure I want to watch that.

Proof they don't understand what makes this show successful.
There's only one spin off I'd watch, and it STILL involves Winchesters.
You couldn't pay me to watch Mary, the BMOL, the MOL, Claire, Alex, Jody, Cole (that was a joke), the twins, or who the frack ever.

A lot of Sam and Dean looking startled and confused. Is this when S12 starts to sneak up on them? I did like the twins. What do you want to bet that one or both bites the dust.

I didn't notice it, but you're right. They do look startled or confused in every picture. I liked the Twins too. If one of them doesn't die, I'm guessing their Mom will, which sucks as they lost their Dad earlier in the season. Witches as hunters is an interesting concept.
