I really liked this episode. Couldn't believe Dean when he told Sam that Jack wasn't family. Dean is still hurting about Mary and still blames Jack. When Jack said that's ok it looked like Dean may have changed his mine a bit but not much. Chuck almost got his wish that one of the brothers would kill the other. When Dean pointed his gun at Sam I thought wow this is it. Was quite a revelation from the Empty (Meg) that Billie wants to take over. But I think I can see why. She's fed up with the Chuck antics and wants it back to "normal". Not sure I understand why Amara merged with Chuck as she told him he was a master manipulator but apparently he said enough to make her change her mind. Still don't understand what happened there.
The ending did leave me wondering what's going to happen. Chuck disappeared just as Jack was getting ready to "explode". So that's going to be the next episode.
I didn't realise that Chuck just disappeared at the end, I thought he was going to kill him like before, and burn his eyes out. Poor Jack gets picked on just because his grandfather sees him as a huge threat to his very existence. I thought that was a really well written episode, and love Meredith as a writer, she's one of my favourites along with Bob Berens.
I hated it when did said the family thing. At first I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. But then a friend explained it to me like you have he's still grieving for his mum. I loved too that Meg was back, She is one sassy lady and just shows how much I've missed her. She knows how to handle herself and other people.
I didn't get why Amara went so easily into Chuck either, I thought she was made of firmer stuff than that. Maybe she didn't want to fight him any more, or she was afraid he would lock her away again.
There was a lot to think about in that episode. Think I am giving that an 8.5 almost a 9 out of ten. Really enjoyed it! And cried.
