film as allegory of sexual frustration?

I find humans have become so distant, lonely and horny that only robots can offer help? Is this true?

how can, an otherwise intelligent, dude fall in "love" with an artificial creature?

discuss.

One of the themes of the film could definitely be how easy men are to manipulate and con.

Beautiful women just do things to a mans chemistry. Men will move mountains for beautiful women.

Caleb got played like a fiddle in this film like many men have in history.

This is a good point. If Ava's "brain" or personality were inside a body that looked like a middle aged balding fat man, would Nathan have been manipulated in the same way? Certainly not.
