Rubbish. complete tripe with outlandish directorial rip-offs from Fincher's Seven. The desert scene at the end with your bad guy on his knees asking to be shot. ridiculous. The stupid telephone noise in the background: why? To imitate the helicopter in Seven? well they should have added a helicopter then, surely. The entire story is a rip-off of Peter Robinson's novel Aftermath...DONT BOTHER WATCHING THIS. I'd slate it some more but it's not worth my time.

sharei agree this movie is stupid. clare danes doesnt do anything except tag along for the entrire movie, richard gere can't act and nothing seemed to happen for the entire movie except for some long unfollowable chase.
And on the back cover they called it "The new Silence of the Lambs", how dare they compare this crap to such an awesome movie.
This film did seem to copy others much better such as Se7en & 8mm, but it was very predictable i thought. Too much flashing around with the camera which gave me a headache and a pain to watch after a while.
The characters were not likeable from the start. Clare´s character never became defined enough to know whether to like or not. Gere was his usual terrible actor role which was weak.
It gave us nothing new.
Stupid scenes like Gere running around with a gun, beating up people and threatening them, doing everything himself.
Why not share the information he had with authorities i.e. police instead of the usual , do it all yourself and save the world concept.
Same old, same old . . .
If it harms none, do what thou wilt.
