Josephine Karlsson's curves

Is it me or does Ms Karlsson's curves keep fluctuating? In the 4th season she was SUPER curvy, like her butt and hips and everything made her resemble a proper hour glass figure. I was incredibly impressed with her womanly shape.

Half of the 5th season she looked rather slim, like she'd been told to go on a diet or something. While she still looked good, she didn't look anywhere near as sultry and suductive as she did in the 4th season, and that's due to the lack of curves...
But towards the end of the 5th season, the girl is getting her curves back!!!

What is going on?!?!?

I've been watching season 4 and am up to episode 10 and was thinking the same thing. VERY curvy; not just her boobs being bigger; everything looks rounder and more voluptuous. (I don't know how long it'll be before I can watch season 5 since Netflix only has 1-4, and I haven't been able to find any online site for season 5.)

MHz Choice has season 5. Online or some Roku equipped TVs have it as an optional channel

They also have the Swedish classics, Wallander movies, original series, and final one.

yes I noticed something too.

She seems to look more vuluptuous the more machiavellian she is behaving.

One never can tell what is going on with a woman's (or actress's) personal choices as to weight (loss or gain).

I do know she got pregnant during the filming of her other mega-hit "A French Village," where she magnificently portrays the complex Hortense.

I haven't seen the series, yet, where she filmed during her pregnancy, so don't know if it was written into the show. Though she and her husband were stated as childless during their decade long marriage at the beginning of the series, so if the plot shows her pregnant, then it would be interesting. Not sure the writers ever said who was unable to have a child--Hortense or Dr. Larcher.

In AFV, she was between her most voluptuous and her least curvy aspects. But then that series began in about 2009 and continues through today, as they are still finishing up the post-War aspects of what happened in the village.

But her variations in size were less pronounced, it seemed to me, in AFV than in Engrenges.

Either way, she's a superb actress--in A French Village, she is stellar. And in Engrenages too of course, as the damaged Josephine.

She's really an amazing actress. There are scenes in A French Village that you almost have to look away from when she's in them. Gah.

No, Captain Bertault is pregnant in the show (within the narrative as opposed to in real life) but I don't think there was anything like that with Karlsson's character. As a possible explanation of why she appears so different from one episode to another I'm not sure. She didn't really look pregnant but yes, I suppose it is possible that they filmed the scenes in a non-chronological order (with respect to the script) in which she [the actress] was literally pregnant in some scenes and not in others. Not sure how this could be confirmed without contacting the producers or the actress herself.

I've not seen the French Village but I agree: she is a very good actress with a broad range and Josephine Karlsson is a great character (especially when she's bad)

Spoiler ahead, but I wiill try to be vague: Speaking of bad...what was the point of Josephine Karlsson destroying that video testimony?
