Still my favorite Nolan film

Man, I love this movie! It had me glued from start to finish. I love how the whole film is basically constructed like the three parts of a magic trick described in the film: The Pledge, The Turn, and The Prestige. Great acting, writing, and directing, and I love the twists and turns. It's funny, but after seeing it, I felt like the twists and surprises should've been obvious. Then eventually I realized that is exactly how a magic trick is: once you figure out how it's done, it seems so obvious and simple, and loses it's awe and wonder. I've really enjoyed most of Nolan's films (Following and Insomnia being my least favorite), but I still think about this one all the time. For me, it's a masterpiece.

Nolan has made more than a few extraordinary films, over the years. If I had to pick a favorite... it would have to be the dark knight.
which is just about a perfect movie.

Stupid comments will be ignored. Good luck!

It really is remarkably effective. Considering how much suspension of disbelief it requires from the audience it really is surprising.

Based on what I had heard about it, I didn't believe I would fall for its charms, but it really is extremely well executed film.

Absolutely!! The novel is really interesting and engaging as well, although quite a bit different in a number of ways. I downloaded the audiobook for it, which was really well done, but I still prefer Nolan's adaptation over the novel. It's such an amazingly well-done film. I watched it again last week, and was still blown away by it. I love Memento, Interstellar, Inception, and The Dark Knight as well, but this is the Nolan film that has truly stuck with me over the years.
