Charlie Cox's hair: Did they film the ending first?

It's obvious that Cox's long hair in the last hour of the film is his own hair and not a wig. So does anyone know if they in fact filmed the whole second part of the film first just because of his hair?

reply

I think it is most likely the long hair parts were filmed first. Filming often is out of sequence.

I have just watched some clips on YouTube when Charlie and Henry Cavill were rehearsing their sword fight. Charlie had short hair" So it must be a wig or extensions.

They were most likely filmed out of order in actuality but within the movie it makes sense. Tristan went from magical Stormhold to nonmagical Wall and in doing so the enchantment placed on his hair no longer had effect. It is the same reason Yvaine couldn't cross without reverting to a rock.

reply

He had long hair when he crossed the gap in the wall into the mortal realm.

What? His hair is cut long by the pirate captain and it remains long for the rest of the movie.... also when he crosses back over the wall to say good bye to Victoria.. so no, you remember incorrectly.

The change that will happen is when something is different in the world of magic... say, like a falling star. One place a rock, another a pretty girl. Hair though, is hair in both worlds.
