Any good?
I loved the book,and I was wondering if I would enjoy this?
shareI found it to be quite enjoyable and charming, very much in a Princess Bride sort of way.
But I had not read the book before seeing the movie, and I know that when one reads the book first, the movie experience can be much different. There's significant changes between the book and movie, so I guess it depends on how open you are to accepting the changes which were made to make the story conform to audience expectations (the action packed "Hollywood" climax for instance).
I've since read the book and enjoy both versions very much.
I'd recommend seeing it, if only because I'd be interested in hearing your reaction to it as somebody who read the book first.
I loved Prrincess Bride.
I'll give this movie a shot!
