Funny British TV series besides 'The IT Crowd'?

This show is so funny and brilliant! I thinks it's one of the funniest British TV series I've ever seen.
Hopefully there'll be a season 5!
Do you know anymore funny TV series? (I think "Black Books" is quite funny too, and of course the "Mr. Bean".)

Richard Ayode is on a mock quiz show called "Was it Something I Said?" which has been just brilliant through 5 eps. His ability to play flat and deadpan with no break in emotion despite the hilarity around him reminds me of a combination of Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall) and Steven Wright. He had a joke that got no response, so he kept pushing by saying his true comedic strength is based on how unfunny he is, and the self-depracation was hilarious.

Peep Show
Fawlty Towers
Father Ted
(You have already mentioned Black Books, which is brilliant btw)
Spaced
The Mighty Boosh is weird but brilliant
Red Dwarf
Extras
The In-Betweeners (I don't really know how well it would translate to a non-British audience however)
Black Adder

The BEST comedy I've seen is call Mind Your Language. I think it was from the late 70's early 80s!!! about a bunch of foreign students entrolling in a British college trying to learn English. It's play on stereotypes which makes it so funny. Probably not very PC today.

Didn't read through all the replies but Spaced and Green Wing are brilliant as well.

I know they have been mentioned already but Monty Pythons Flying Circus and Coupling rank up there next to IT Crowd for constant laughs. Flying Circus is more absurd whereas Coupling is more raunchy, but these are shows that every time I watch them tears roll down my face from laughing so much.

Black Adder was also mentioned. It is not very funny on a per episode basis, but it has one of the best final episodes ever, of any tv show I have ever seen - which makes it worth watching. Enjoy.

Father Ted is not British! IT Crowd is also by the same guy, so it's not technically British either. Please stop taking credit for things that aren't yours.
