I thought the movie should have ended with him staying with Miriam, but continued to be a good husband to Fiona as well as Miriam being a good wife to Aubrey. My reason Is there getting together Is more of a convenience, comforting each other, friends with benefits, type of way, weather it developed into a love relationship or not. This is the only time were I felt that at there age and devotion to there spouses and there partners condition, It would be ok. Just because she regained her memory of love for her husband it will most likely be temporary.

@witheringHeights....You are right, I would bet he wanted both of them, and I don't blame him She would all but forget who he is as well as who Aubry was and what he meant to her before long. As he and Miriam grew closer they could all understand what every one was going through. I did start to wonder just how much do you tell Fiona in her fragile state of mind.
