loved this film

Couldnt be bothered writing a review so just wanted to say really enjoyed this film.. the director was awesome for a fantasy movie, great sets, casting was nice (but not sure about the lead), locations were excellent and the lighting and cinematography beautiful! Makes me want to read the books so i will when the chance comes.. will also look out for more films from Iain Softley !!
Had a real harry potter feel to it.. i recon Iain would have done a great job of some of the HP books.. only gripe is that he make this one quite family and tame compared to the books.. (from what people say) it could have been much darker and less light hearted, and got a bigger cult following in return.
