Sorry to say, but this movie is stupid

1. Anyone faced with a problem of their wife being trapped in a book by their ability would have repeatedly experimented with their ability within that 9 years, not try to avoid the ability and not use it for 9 years.

2. There is no need to go into the castle or read something silly like Wizard of Oz. All he had to do was read a couple of superheroes out like Superman etc and he would have easily rescued everyone and fixed his problem. Since the characters he read out are noble heroes, getting them to return to their world after saving him would be a piece of cake. Someone with that ability would have at least read out some artifacts/protector/abilities. The way the story progressed was pure idiocy. Any mildly intelligent man would not have done that.
