Customers can be picky - imagine if you ordered something (a meal, a product, whatever) that wasn't 100% on arrival? You'd be slightly cheesed off. The clients were paying extortionate amounts of money for the victims - I'm sure they were perfectly capable/within their rights to complain if their victims turned up battered.
Maybe thats why they focused on her scratched face - I think as far as Sacha was concerned, the kids had "sullied" his auction piece, and had to teach them a lesson ie: not to f&ck with his business
