This has to be the best crime movie of the past 10 years... the atmosphere, the performances, the way the story unfolds... Grim, yet beautiful movie...
So compelling, I have to keep watching it whenever I stumble upon it while surfing channels

The Town (2010) was really great with a fine cast!
The Departed (2006...ok i know its 11 years but c'mon!!) was an amazing remake of a Hong Kong cop thriller with a great cast as well
American Gangster (2007) the movie that shows exactly why Denzel is a f'ing supernova of a movie star...he made me root for a heroin kingpin in this one...'killer' performance!
Good choices... I like American Gangster a lot.. Also underrated...
But joaquin phoenix really makes you feel it in We Own The Night... Yet none of my friends have even heard of the movie!
Just watched it - I would give it around a 7/10
