Sure it's a mindless romantic comedy, but I actually chuckled quite a bit throughout this, and the music (while intentionally sappy '80s pop parody) was actually well-crafted.

I wasn't expecting much from it, either, but it's easily become one of my favorite rom-coms.

Hugh Grant was incredibly funny, singing and dancing. And his jokes were brilliant.
