They sang their own songs. They both had vocal coaches during the film. You can find the info in the movie details. It's in the trivia section.
shareAnyone see Woody Allen's film "Everyone Says I Love You?" It was from the 90s where everyone just broke into song at certain points. And everyone actually sang except Drew Barrymore whose voice they dubbed. Julia Roberts sang and had a terrible voice. I just figured that if everyone else was forced to sing and most of them had less than stellar voices, that Drew's oice must have been atrocious.
