Has anyone else noticed how the band Mystery Jets seem to have taken a little bit of 'Way Back Into Love' from Music and Lyrics and put it into their new single 'Young Love'?

HOW are they getting away with this? it's basically the exact melody! except for the fact that hugh grant sounds WAY better singing it.
this is insane, the melody is identical, not a single note of difference. schlesinger should sue these talentless limeys. someone should email his management or whoever owns the rights to the song.

Were we all not told that if you use a certain number of words you have to cite your sources... Didn't ColdPlay, Madonna, Avril Lavigne ... even the Beatles called out on plagarism... and they only used short portions of the melody... this is the entire freakin' song in fast forward!!!

"Way Back Into Love" itself has some opening bars that are very close to an actual '80s Britpop hit. It's been on the tip of my tongue ever since I saw this movie a few days ago. Let me see if I can remember it . . .

I just have to say, in all fairness, 'My Sweet Lord' does have the same structure and melody as 'He's So Fine'. Just a comment. I love the song and George, but, we have to be rational about these things.
I agree that this song is a lot like 'Way Back Into Love', but there are a finite number of chord progressions in this universe, and also a finite number of accepted, Western pop-music-styled ways to arrange a song. So it very well might have been a complete coincidence, or, as Mr. Harrison was ultimately charged with, 'inadvertent plagiarism' because they watched the movie and subconsciously took in the song.
The "if I only knew your name" part sounds very similar, but the rest doesn't. I would be ticked off by it if Way Back Into Love wasn't already a rip-off of Head over Heels by Tears for Fears.
