Whose Concert Did They Use?

I know sometimes when concerts are featured in movies (Almost Famous, Rock Star) they actually film at real concerts (mainly to keep costs down?), so just wondering if anyone knows whose concert at Madison Square Garden they used for filming the concert scenes?

They filmed at the Nassau Coliseum, not Madison Square Garden. I wish I knew. I live right near the Coliseum. I would have loved to go! I have no idea if it was during a real concert or not.
