Oh Dear!

I like Hugh Grant, but I'm afraid this is a pretty poor effort all round. It's as if it was decided his 'pained expression' look, used to such good effect in films such as About A Boy and Briget Jones was amusing, so he should keep that face for just about the entire movie.

The storyline was so light as to be almost non-existent, and the best comedy parts, if you could find them, warranted a slight smile at most.
The Pop intro and ending videos were probably the most amusing part of the movie.

The lyrics of his song to Drew Barrymore, sung at the concert, which I think were supposed to be romantic (it brought tears to her eyes anyway) were just as crass as the send-up songs.

I paid €2 for this movie, and I think I was done!
All and all, not one to list under "classics".
