a little disappointing..

Although i didn't mind the film as i was watching it..i realized that i didn't feel at all content or satisfied when it was over..It felt more like a waste of time..
and where is the chemistry? It felt like they were two strangers the whole time, even when they finally fell for eachother at the end it didn't feel at all true. However, that could be due to hugh's role-the pompous, self absorbed man that he regularly plays is getting a little worn, but he manages to give a good performance each time.
the film just...wasn't...GOOD enough, and not a very memorable one either.
Anyone agree?

I first saw it last spring on a trans-Atlantic flight and thought it was great fun. Recently I saw it on tv and still enjoyed it, but because I wasn't so desperate for diversion, it didn't seem as good. I think the strong point was the cleverness of Hugh Grant's dialogue. I agree the chemistry just wasn't there, especially coming from him.

just watched the film - i couldn't disagree more, i think that they have great chemistry together. The film's trailer didn't do it justice as at first i was sceptical about seeing it but i really enjoyed it - 'pop goes my heart' is pretty catchy too!
