It had a pro-gay message and characters still make 'gay jokes' in films coming out today. I swear this whole anti-pc thing is becoming as overblown as the movement itself.

Well it is fine that you saw it as a "pro-gay message"...but many others did not, particularly with Sander's history.

shareI was actually pleasantly surprised when I watched this movie. I myself am gay and find this movie to have a very pro gay message. Sure, it has a lot of stereotypes and asinine humor but what do you expect of an Adam Sandler film? To this day I still get a little misty eyed when Chuck looks over at the gay couple in sympathy at the club as one is trying to comfort the other who is crying.
I have been through a lot of stuff like that.
It is sweet, and funny. It is a little whore-phobic and childish but again... It is an Adam Sandler movie. If you are expecting wittiness and a clever script... Don't watch an Adam Sandler movie.
I blinking love David Matthews in this movie. I giggle every time.
