Ving Rhames = Best part of the film...

to see one of Hollywood's biggest baddest perennial tough guys looking even bigger badder and tougher for most of the film, bust out into a song and dance routine to "I'm Every Woman" is just pure comedic genius...

of course, you can't appreciate it if you haven't seen Rhames in films like Undisputed, Con Air, or... Pulp Fiction...

but if you have, then i'm sure you'll agree that the whole sequence was hands down hilarious....

now, if we can get Danny Trejo to do something similar...

Yeah he Akroyd and Bucemi, even though there roles were small they added a lot to the movie, if they hadn't have been in it i doubt it would have been as good as it was.

reply

Agreed. Rhames stole the show. The picture at the end was the icing on the cake.

Ving is the man.

Ving Rhames and Jessica Biel nailed it.

the first time i saw him in the court with adam andler, i thought he's gonna nail him, but then he came out of the closet and his gay emotion was just perfect. i burst into tears laughing at him during the shower scene... that was just too brutal lol

reply

Yeah, I had alot of scenes in the movie that I loved, but that shower scene was the most funniest.. it ranks one for me.. You can just imagine what the cast had to be like in filming that.. if you look at the guys in the back of the scenes you can tell they are trying not to laugh..cause they smiling while trying to look weirded out at same time. XD.. but it was the best scene..

reply

I agree! I love the "I'm every woman" scene! He stole the show!

reply

For a guy Ving's size, he jumped up like a spider when Adam said yes, he'll help him tell his parents. lol
Yeah, Adam seems wiry, but having 240-250 lbs fall into his arms would certainly send him to the chiropractor.
YESSS!! YESSS!!

Rhames was hilarious, and I'd love to see Danny Trejo in a similar role.

reply

He definitely was the best part of the movie, he sold that role perfectly.
