I think like a 3rd of the worlds gay population is right there in San Fransisco, so that's just a Hollywood stereotype.

But the only places people really act like racist or biggot like or take offense from it is in places people refuse to grow, learn or understand.


If you know a place is famous for hating to change things, like Texas for instance, you can know for sure a person's life will be hell if they go public about it (unless they are one hell of a communicator and have lawyer like tactics to dodge serious situations).

But if your out in California, and say, you are good friends with a smokin hot lesbian, someone you would kill for to have violent sex with. You have got to expect her friends will probably be gay. Not all, but I think it's worth it if she's like on a level of hotness she could be a muse to your career or something.

It's all about people, and their choices. If something isn't appropriate, they get called and usually in bars or what ever that's that.

The really stupid people, or people who don't understand it enough to not emotionally crumble are just that way because they are too lazy to figure it out and finish growing their awareness of it all.

Which is why the very first Budah, as played by Keanue Reaves said "Unawareness is the cause for all suffering".

But yeah, people who freak out because they think they can't control a situation without controlling the people are dangerous to be around, because even though they might attack someone who is gay (verbally, psychologically, emotionally etc) they would probably do it to someone they hated just as much. Say one day you say you like the team that opposes theirs. BAM you get the blunt of the same crap they would have dealt a gay person.

I don't blame them, it takes a lot to get smart enough to understand it. Which is why I don't hang around xbox 360 users. Because I don't understand that logic in owning the system. So I usually will verbally demolish their garbage, fake-pure-birbe-based-over-rated, IBM 286 part using, outdated software emulating PC games'in, 10 pound carple tunnel causing controller using system. Since I can't control that response, screw them and leave it at that.

I don't blame them because when you live in a place that has so many people with conditioned responses, reinforcement of unaware practice is so rife some things are impossible to do there. Even if ignorance is no excuse, it's not the easiest thing to get rid of ya know.


Or else I challenge you to enjoy, like ENJOY, as you would finishing one of your top ten life goals... 20 minutes of either c-span or parliment hearings.

lol, then when you become aware that is almost impossible, you can know for sure it isn't impossible. Nothing is. Impossible is nothing. Then you can raise your awareness/understanding to the point, you can see there is a lot to learn before you can understand that ridiculously hard to gain skill.
