If they're bringing back Ben Affleck ffs they can make an new Superman movie with Cavill.
Well, he's been in three Superman films and none of them were very good. Time to move on.
shareThe last 2 "Superman" films that Henry Cavill was in were not actual sequels to MOS. What Henry Cavill and Superman fans want is MOS II, not cameos or movies where we have other superheroes.
shareYes! Absolutely. I'm one of the few who really enjoyed Man of Steel and it was like coming down with a huge thud to see Cavill have to trudge his way through the terrible Vs Batman and Justice League movies.
I'm definitely down for Man of Steel 2.
MOS fanboys spent all of 2014, 2015, and 2016 gloating about how Batfleck v. Psuedoman would be a "direct sequel" to MOS and how it "proved" the haters had "failed" in opposing more of Snyder's crapfest after MOS got WORSE reviews than Superman Returns.
Now they've flip-flopped 180o degrees and admit MOS hasn't gotten a "sequel". Not to mention flip-flopping 180o degrees on wanting a villian besides Zod and Lex Luthor, after they spent YEARS applauding and defending WB for lazily recycling the SAME villains in Superman movies for 30+ years (falsely claiming they were being "bold" and "trying something new and different")
Sorry, Snyderites can't have it both ways.
MOS 2 is dead, and has been since MOS landed with a thud and collective yawn.
If you ask me the future of Superman movies are now stuck between a rock and a hard place, fans want to see more movies with Cavill but the chances of it are slim.

shareIt's been nearly eight years since Man Of Steel, there's been no talk or interest in getting a Man Of Steel 2 made, so so it's killed any hopes for another solo Cavill film.
