Navern's parents were mean.
Spoil him for most of his life, and then once he's an adult, throw him out to fend for himself. I mean, that's mean. He had no real world experiences, so he was open to being taken advantage of(Like a Witch doctor turning him into a frog). I would have liked it if they gradually begun treating him like an adult as he grew up rather than just throwing him out as soon as he became an adult. He should have gradually got more responsibility and jobs as he grew up, that would have made eventually fending for himself much better.
