Where did Ray get the money from?

Did he really 'sell his life insurance' as he claims (can one even do that?), or did his father come through and helped him?

If the latter is the case, why did he make up the story about the life insurance?

reply

Ray could have sold his/her life insurance in one of two manners. Some policies accumulate a cash value that can be "cashed in" while alive. Another possibility is one with a terminal illness and a life insurance policy can assign a beneficiary in exchange for upfront cash. I always thought (pure speculation) that Ray got the advance from her/his father after making him the beneficiary of the policy.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.

I presume you mean Ray?
You write one simple topic line with 7 words in it and get one wrong, thus making your topic confusing and nonsensical.
Way to go.

Oh shut up. What's the big deal? It's one little mistake, get over it.

this clown here needs some real life problems to worry about if the subject line in a post gets him/her that upset.

He didn't want Ron to feel guilty for Rayon having to humiliate himself by going to his rejecting father for help. Or else couldn't admit that to Ron. Or both. It was a white lie that saved them both some dignity.
